SPDX Specifications

The following are the SPDX specifications past, present and future.

  • To see a current list of issues you can access our bugzilla database. To enter a bug on the specification you may need to get an account on the Linux Foundation Bugzilla system (its free).
  • If you have questions about the speicification you can ask them on the technical team mailing list.
  • If you are not subscribed to the technical team mailing list sign up here. You will need to subscribe to be able to send an email to the list.

 

 

Accepted SPDX Specifications

SPDX Version 1.1

Version 1.1 of the SPDX spec is the current active specification.

Draft SPDX Specifications

SPDX Version vNEXT

The next version of the SPDX Specification. Currently that is 2.0.

SPDX Version 2.0

This is currently the next planned release of the specification targeted for Q4 of 2013.

Archived SPDX Specifications

SPDX Version 1.0

This was the first release of the Specification. It is now deprecated and has been replaced with version 1.1.
